Feed in. Growth out. The FCR tells the story.

Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) is more than a biological metric. It is one of the clearest indicators of production efficiency. Every improvement in FCR reduces the amount of feed required to produce a kilogram of fish, directly influencing production cost and farm profitability.

But FCR doesn't exist in isolation. It is the outcome of hundreds of management decisions, from feeding strategy and fish health to water quality, stocking density and husbandry. When FCR changes, something in the production system has usually changed with it.

This interactive tool explores the relationship between feed fed, biomass gained and FCR. By adjusting the variables, you can see how production performance changes and better understand the commercial implications of biological performance.
