GRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM

The Graduate Training Program (GTP) is a 12-month, full-time initiative designed to equip early-career graduates with the practical, technical, and analytical skills to succeed in the aquaculture sector.


Delivered in partnership with leading commercial farms, the GTP blends structured online learning, immersive on-site rotations, and mentorship from industry professionals. Participants progress through a carefully sequenced curriculum that includes weekly live sessions, guided readings, hands-on experience, and a capstone project.


Graduates will develop capabilities in hatchery operations, production planning and analytics, fish health and biosecurity, data management, and the business side of aquaculture - from performance tracking to financial planning.

COURSE CONTENT

APPLIED, FARM-BASED TRAINING:

Learning is reinforced and accelerated on-site by experienced farm professionals who provide hands-on coaching, real-time troubleshooting, and practical insights that online study alone cannot deliver. Through rotations across different departments at the assigned farm, participants apply knowledge from the online modules to real production systems, building technical fluency, enhancing problem-solving skills, and strengthening teamwork in a real-world setting.
